Number Five on the list is going to be taken by Generation I: Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow versions. This game and number four were in a tight competition for this spot, but the other gen simply had more features and more well designed Pokemon. "But Jacob", you complain, "what about the nostalgia? Generation I was a classic, it should be way higher!" Sorry guys, but number four simply has more cool Pokemon, a better region, and some cooler legendary Pokemon.
However, Generation I does hold four of my top five Pokemon of all time, those being:
#4 - Gengar
#3 - Victreebel
#2 - Lapras
#1 - Bulbasaur
But it is also home to Mr.Mime and zombie, Parasect.
Overall, it is a great generation, and was definitely a great start to an epic franchise, but other generations had better Pokemon and better regions, so make sure to come back tomorrow for Number 4 to be revealed.
