Weekly Update e.2

A tad late, but here nonetheless. Let's hop right in:

Civilization VI gets a limited "Anniversary Edition"

It's super limited but it's also dope as hell! If you're a fan of Civilization, by all means snatch it up, that is if there are any left. They only made 20,000. Comes with a coinset, some books, and of course, the game. Here's the full deets: https://civilization.com/news/entries/civilization-vi-limited-quantity-25th-anniversary-edition-revealed

Halo 5: Guardians gets another free update; Forge

Firstly, Halo 5: Guardians Forge is coming to Windows 10, which is cool. But way cooler is the fact that Halo 5 is getting yet another free content release, featuring new maps, new armor customization, new weapon skins, and THE FREAKING HUNTER CANNONS. URL for the full details is here: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/news/anvil-s-legacy-preview, but wow Halo is still piling on the free shit, so keep it coming.

That's all for this week, hopefully, some more Mons will be announced next week, but until then, kcduckling out

Weekly Update e.1

Here he is! The great, the clever, the wonderful, the ever knowledgeable kc...DUCKLING! [crowd roars, applause soon follows]

Hey friends, its me, kcduckling, comin atcha for the first time from my new residence in Manhattan, Kansas. Yes, the kduckling is now a powercat, but thats not why you came here, is it?

This week has featured a lot of news on some awesome upcoming vidyagames, thanks mostly to Gamescom being held this week, but here's my top stories:

Battlefield 1 looks gooooooooood

Boy howdy, I was kinda hyped for Battlefield 1 before this week and now I can't help but completely fall in love with the game. Everything in the trailer was absolutely epic, from the Johnny Cash music inn the background to the mindblowingly awesome spectacle of buggies driving side-by-side with horses or the first person look of getting hit by a train, the trailer promised fans that the game would not disappoint and would be a refreshing new take on the FPS genre thanks to its World War I setting. Here's the trailer here if you missed it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymwXbF1VTKU

Pokemon Sun and Moon continues to impress

Pokemon Sun and Moon have been steadily revealing new Pokemon leading up to their November release, and they have kept the habit going, revealing a badass new Fire/Dragon Pokemon and quite possibly the most brilliantly designed Pokemon I have seen in the past few generations: a Ghost/Ground sandcastle Pokemon. He's pictured below, but honestly the design team on Sun and Moon have been killing it thus far with my one exception being the disgustingly artificial Magearna, but no matter.

Thats all I really have for you this week, I'll definitely have more next week its just that this week was a little hectic from all the college move in and preparation and such. See you next Sunday. kcduckling out.

New Post Format

As today marks two months since my last post, I've once again continued my trend of forgetting I have a blog for months on end. Therefore, I have come up with a new post format that will help me post more regularly. Once a week, I'll post a little wrap up for the week. No news, strictly opinions, so it's easier for me to post on a tight schedule. Look forward to the first one of those fellas this next Sunday. I'll see you then. kcduckling, out.
