Praise the Lord! A brand new Pokemon Sun and Moon trailer just came out a few days ago and now we have a good look at the region, the legendary Pokemon, and the starter Pokemon. SO how does it all look?
The Region - looks great. Themed after Hawaii and named the Alola region, from what we've seen, the region hosts a volcano, plenty of sandy beaches and ocean, but also at least one large city. This opens the question, vehicles or not? No signs have been shown yet, but we'll just have to wait and see.
The Legendary Pokemon - also look pretty cool. My only qualm is that the Pokemon Sun legendary looks a lot like Pyroar if you swap some colors here and there, but this isn't that big of a deal. He still looks crazy badass. And the Pokemon Moon legendary looks phenomenal, like a big dream-catcher, almost.
The Starters - ah starter Pokemon. They're no Gen 1 starters, but they look pretty good. My favorite BY FAR is Rowlet, the grass and flying starter simply because he looks adorable but can also fuck you up thanks to his dual typing. Litten looks pretty good, and my least favorite is probably Popplio, but this is neither here nor there.
All in all, I am very excited for this next entry in the series, and I can't wait to get more information on it soon.
"Those of us who love Nintendo know that no matter what's going on in our lives, we can always count on these games to deliver fun and great gameplay, because it's Nintendo." - Reggie Fils-Aime

Three Things
I don't feel like posting separately, so Imma bundle these three thoughts together: COD Infinite Warfare, Overwatch Open Beta, Captain America: Civil War.
For starters, I know that I never talk about movies on this blog and for good reason, because I play way more video games than I do watch movies. But, Captain America: Civil War is easily the most exciting, action-packed Marvel movie I have ever seen. The movie as a whole is very well done, but the fight sequences are masterfully put together and everything looks great. The addition of Spiderman only brings more joy and wit to the battles, which is something that is always welcome. Seriously, go see this movie. You will not be disappointed.
OVERWATCH. I had to hear about Overwatch all week this week from my other friends who have played the game and some have even pre-ordered already, so I finally decided to check it out yesterday, and I have to admit, the game is fun. No, it's not the most original title but I had fun playing it, which is all that video games are about, man.
And, finally, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Infinitely stupid. I hate Call of Duty. The franchise is still in the future, and is now turning to space which is really too bad because there is another prominent first person shooter that already takes place in space. I can't remember the name though... oh yeah, FUCKING HALO jesus. Infinity Ward is a bunch of cheap bastards who can't think on their own and now all Call of Duty fans will have to wade through the slop that is Infinite Warfare if they wish to play Modern Warfare remastered.
Just to sum it all up: see Captain Ameria: Civil War, Overwatch is fun, but probably not buyable, Call of Duty is garbage and Infinite Warfare is basically Halo now.

Breaking the Post Drought
Much like Nintendo with their good games drought, so too I find this blog having yet another post drought. Mostly because I'm wrapping up my senior year of high school, but also because I've been spending every free second I have playing the masterpiece that is Halo 5: Guardians.
The recent news is that Legend of Zelda Wii U has become Legend of Zelda NX/Wii U, and will release in March of 2017... no, wait... now just 2017. This is incredibly disappointing because after the first trailer, the release date was "2015". How incredible it is that Nintendo was so far off in projecting a release date that the game will actually be a whole two years later in its release.
Also what's been bugging me lately is how we have heard absolutely nothing about the next entry in the Pikmin franchise: Pikmin 4. Miyamoto himself said last September that Pikmin 4 was "very close to completion", yet there has not been a single video of it, or even a screenshot.
What Nintendo is doing right now, I have no idea. The Big N seems to be completely out of whack with their Wii U coming to the end of its life and the NX coming just next year. Looking at the rest of 2016, Nintendo has very little planned for its gaming systems, the only big names being Kirby in Kirby: Planet Robobot, and the much-hated Metroid Prime: Federation Force, not to mentio Pokemon Sun and Moon. Although, Nintendo does have both an Animal Crossing and a Fire Emblem app coming out later this year, presumably alongside Pokemon Go. And although Nintendo's Miitomo was a big success, I still worry for the mainstream Nintendo consoles.
I suppose all we can do is wait to hear more from Nintendo, hopefully with a Nintendo Direct between now and E3. But until then, we'll just have to hope for the best from Nintendo and pray every night that maybe one day soon we can get our hands on Legend of Zelda NX.

Paper Mario Color Splash
For those of you who weren't keeping up on Nintendo news lately, there was a brand new Nintendo Direct a few days ago, which had some coolish stuff in it, although I still think Starfox is boring so sue me, damn. Anyway, I nearly shat myself when I saw that there was indeed a new Paper Mario game coming to the Wii U! Paper Mario is one of my favorite franchises of all time and The Thousand Year Door was one of the first games I played ever. So how does the new game look?
Mostly shitty. Here's why.
First of all, I will give it credit that the overworld looked fine and the paint hammer is kinda cool in a way, but what pisses me the fuck off is the goddam battle mechanics. You would think that Nintendo would have learned their lesson after Sticker Star, but as of now it appears that they don't give a flying fuck about what people thought about that game. Here's the problem with Sticker Star: you should absolutely under no circumstances have to use any special ability or power to utilize a normal stomp or hammer, but sticker star demanded you have the basic stomp sticker if you wanted to stomp, which is ridiculous. As for the new game, the combat was shown briefly, so maybe it works differently, but my impression is that you are going to be painting fucking cards on the GamePad before every battle which would be probably the shittiest invention in the history of mankind.
So, here's hoping that the game has at least a somewhat normal battle system even though that's kind of a hopeless plea, I will plea nonetheless. And in case anyone from Nintendo decides to read this and give a fuck, pleasepleaseplease go back to battle points for special stomps and hammers and nothing for all the basic attacks. I know that there will never again be a masterpiece like The Thousand Year Door, but at least try. I mean, seriously. Try.
Until next time, kcduckling out.

New Nintendo 3DS Review
TWO WHOLE MONTHS LATER I'M NOT DEAD I SWEAR
seriously though, my bad on the whole "not posting" thing I've been doing lately.
anyways, I got the 20th anniversary Pokemon New Nintendo 3DS and it ROCKS
love it
it's the best
From the location of the game card slot to the face-tracking 3D to the Amiibo functionality to the badass faceplates, the New Nintendo 3DS is a solid alternative to the current Nintendo 3DS system. And, if you're one of the suckers who bought the New Nintendo 3DS XL, this regular sized version is also a viable alternate. It is seriously the best.
In other news, Pokemon Sun and Moon were announced which is also really awesome except that the 2 minute long trailer only had 15 seconds of Sun and Moon related stuffs.
Anywho I'll probably be back sooner rather than later because I still need to finish and review Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam, but until then, kcduckling out.
Also, if anyone has an extra Mew they wanna trade me, shoot me a message on Nuggetbridge or leave a comment below. I'll give you nearly anything.

Game of the Year (TOP 5)
5. Fallout 4
4. Super Mario Maker
3. Splatoon
2. Halo 5: Guardians
1. Rocket League
Fallout 4 is a good game. But that's all I can really say about it. It's big, yes. It's fun, yes. But it lacks the extra something that these other games deliver.
Super Mario Maker was the greatest thing that Nintendo has done with 2D Mario in his entire history. His most recent 2D platformers were getting a little stale, and Super Mario Maker is just what it needed to get out of the rut. It's fun and easily replayable to make more and more levels.
Splatoon is a brand new Nintendo IP and it is absolutely amazing. Nintendo is known for their existing franchises, and often get scorned for never branching out, but Splatoon is classic Nintendo with vibrant colors and gameplay while being an entertaining shooter.
Halo 5 is amazing. Jaw dropping. Stunning. The multiplayer is frenetic and fast-paced. It does not get much better than Halo 5 multiplayer. However, the only thing holding Halo 5 back was the bonehead decision to ditch local splitscreen. Bad move, 343.
Rocket League is insane. Trying to explain its gameplay and fun to people unfamiliar with the title is futile and hopeless. But once you have tried it out, you can see why it receives such high praise. Anyone can play and once you have mastered basic techniques, the skill moves you can perform at the highest level are truly wild. The most important thing on why this game received first place is because I've had the most fun with this game this year. And that should be weighed more seriously than graphics or sound or anything else.

New Legal Pokemon for 2016 VGC
For a full article, head on over here: http://nuggetbridge.com/articles/new-mechanics-introduced-vgc-2016/
Basically: Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza are all legal now. Which is pretty fucking stupid considering that Mega Rayquaza is the most op Pokemon in fucking history.
Bullshit. Personally, I just think that all legendary Pokemon should be banned, but hey, what do I know?
Every fucking winning team in 2016 is going to have a Mega Rayquaza which will make it not fun and game play will be shit. I can't wait.
