Great news! I'm not dead!
Other great news is that Super Mario Maker is less than a month from release and Halo 5: Guardians is kind of back on my good side.
Super Mario Maker doesn't need explaining. You build Mario levels in your choice of a few different art styles from Mario games past. It's really cool and everyone should get it. Here's the website: http://supermariomaker.nintendo.com/#/home
And Halo 5 has kind of but not really redeemed itself for the whole not having local functionality thing. First, let me say that Warzone and Arena both look absolutely fantastic. The game is shaping up to be a hell of a lot of fun. Except. Except that 343 was like "splitscreen? Not an important part of Halo, for sure." and removed it entirely. Which was probably one of the dumbest things anyone has ever done in the history of mankind. But life will move on. And so will I. Until next time, kcduckling out.
